William Hartnell, 8 Ocak 1908 doğumlu İngiliz bir aktör.I’m an Explosive, This Sporting Life, Heavens Above!, The World Ten Times Over, Tomorrow at Ten, Piccadilly Third Stop, And the Same to You ve daha birçok filmde rol almış.The Plane Makers, Ghost Squad, Kraft Mystery Theater, No Hiding Place ve Probation Officer dizilerinde konuk oyuncu olarak yer alan Hartnell, The Army Game dizisinde rol aldı.Hartnell’in en bilinen rolü ise Doctor Who dizisinde ki The Doctor karakteri.William Hartnell 23 Nisan 1975 yılında kalp yetmezliğinden dolayı vefat etti.
